Operations Manager - Expanish Buenos Aires
We are an international education organization that offers cultural immersion programs in Spanish speaking destinations. We currently operate study centers in Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga and Buenos Aires. Our immersion programs include Spanish classes, accommodation and cultural activities. We also organize university study abroad programs. We are currently seeking an Operations Manager for our center in Buenos Aires.
Job Description
This position is responsible for operating all of our programming in Argentina.
The Operations Manager supervises all administrative and academic staff on site and reports to the Director of Operations (based in Spain). They are ultimately responsible for student experience in Buenos Aires.
Operations Management (80%)
● Supervise and manage the study center operations, including coordinating arrivals, classes, accommodations, activities, and groups.
● Oversee payments to providers and the accounting process.
● Ensure that the center's facilities are well-maintained and clean with the maintenance team.
● Address or oversee medical or logistical emergencies for students at any time. Supervise the rotation of an emergency phone.
Human Resources Tasks (20%)
● Recruit, train, and evaluate team members.
● Oversee staff payroll.
Qualifications
● Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish.
● Previous experience in operations with customer service or in HR areas is a plus
● Service-oriented.
● Demonstrable skills in decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership capacity.
