Your Role at Expanish:
As part of the Operations team in Barcelona, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our students. We’re looking for a highly organized, customer-focused individual with strong interpersonal skills, a proactive mindset, and a keen ability to address student needs effectively. As the first point of contact, you’ll be essential in maintaining a welcoming and supportive environment for students from around the world.
This role also includes administrative responsibilities where your organizational skills and ability to multitask will be crucial to your success. Hours: Monday from 07:45 to 16:45 and Tuesday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:30.

Key Responsibilities
Student Services
- Oversee the arrival and registration of new students each Monday, working closely with the Academic Coordination team to ensure their first day at the school is smooth and welcoming.
- Cover the school reception Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30: answer and assist with student inquiries, handle phone calls, greet potential new students, and sell books, drinks, and snacks to students.
- Manage the student WhatsApp group and school email inbox to provide timely assistance and updates.
Administration
- Manage administrative tasks: register new enrollments and course extensions, update the student database, maintain office supply inventory, process invoices, etc.
- Support the manager with expense tracking in the system.
- Assist the manager with reconciling payments (cash and card transactions)
Office Management
- Oversee campus opening Monday to Friday.
- Ensure the campus is kept in optimal condition (organization, screens, various repairs).
- Manage inventory (books, snacks, cleaning supplies, etc.) and place orders as needed.
- Coordinate maintenance services (internet, printers, cleaning, pest control, plant maintenance, repairs, etc.)
Additional Duties
- Rotate as the emergency phone contact and respond to any emergencies that may arise.
- Occasionally support other departments (academic coordination, housing, activities, etc.) as needed
